There are other settings for mild, medium or bold brews, and even customizable temps from 185-205, but we stick with the Gold setting since it makes you feel like a coffee pro.
Waking up to a perfect pot
Programming the Café Specialty Drip Coffee Maker might be one of the best parts, since it’s super-easy and the simple controls guide you through it. Press and hold the Auto-Brew button and it takes you step by step through what time you want it to start, how many cups…and what setting – we always leave it on “Gold”. As long as you pour the water in the reservoir and add your scoops of ground coffee, you’re ready to go! The good thing is that, if someone forgets to do these things the night before, the system only take 5 or 6 minutes to brew a pot of coffee up to 10 cups….so you aren’t waiting long at all.
For the Techies (and the rest of us)
The built-in Smart WiFi features add even more coolness to this coffee maker…giving you Voice-to-Brew options if you enjoy the modern conveniences of a connected home. The GE Appliances HQ app provides easy to use features across the GE and Café brands, allowing further customizations to cycles and even remote diagnosis if something were to go wrong. The WiFi settings also work with Alexa and Google, so you aren’t locked into using the GE HQ app. “Hey Alexa, tell the kids it’s time to get up…and starting brewing!”
So it’s simple normal controls, but cool Wifi smart features if you want them.
